Kerry Condon is only a few days into the promotional interviews for her latest film, F1, so I don’t feel too bad asking the one question that she is likely to be asked a lot: ‘What was it like to work with Brad Pitt?’

“I was really glad that it was at this point in my career, because it was a very big role opposite him, and maybe if I had been younger, I would have been very nervous about it,” she says. “We had both worked with David Fincher, so we had that in common. So he was really in the moment to act opposite, which was a lot of fun and very relaxed. I knew no two takes were going to be the same.”
