ASTI votes down Leaving Cert reform package

The Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland (ASTI) has voted 68pc to 32pc not to accept a package of further support measures recently negotiated between the Union and the Department for the curriculum changes to senior cycle.
The package related to teachers and their conditions of employment and apply only to those teachers who become parties to the agreement.
