Employers who fail to engage in ‘good faith’ in collective bargaining talks with unions should be hit with fines and sanctions, the Government has been told.

The recommendation was made by Siptu in a submission to the Department of Enterprise. It was part of a Government consultation on Ireland’s action plan on the promotion of collective bargaining.
