A Dublin mother fighting for a school place for her autistic son, said the realisation he has nowhere to go hit her “like a tonne of bricks”.

Crystal Mooney’s son, Charlie, will turn six before the new academic year, but remains without a place just weeks before schools close for summer and Dáil Éireann goes into recess.
