The families of those killed and injured on the A5 will be heartbroken by a court judgment quashing an Executive decision to go ahead with a major upgrade of the road, Northern Ireland’s Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has said.

The 95km A5 links Derry with Aughnacloy in Co Tyrone and has claimed some 50 lives since 2006, making it one of Northern Ireland’s most dangerous roads.
