Carlow shooter latest: Gardaí probe USB stick taped to friend’s bedroom window

Gardaí are investigating if Carlow gunman Evan Fitzgerald saved a manifesto on a USB device which was left at his friend’s home in the hours before he opened fire in a shopping centre.

Security sources have also raised concerns over political commentary on the case which suggested that his initial firearms case should have been dealt with by way of diversion.
