Donald Trump’s bunker-bomb attacks on Iran have put the world on a knife-edge – and left Ireland in a quandary over just who are we “neutral for” this time.

Both the Taoiseach and Tánaiste have preached the gospel of the “three Ds” they argue are so badly needed at this time: “diplomacy, dialogue and de-escalation”.
