A father of four who lived a healthy lifestyle has spoken of his shock at being diagnosed with penile cancer, which affects just 60 men in Ireland every year.

Cormac France (57) from Co Kildare said: “I’m a very fit and active person. I used to do a lot of training. Because I don’t smoke I didn’t think I would be a candidate to get cancer, never mind penile cancer, which is rarer again.”
