A long list of theories has been put forward over the past 32 years about what happened to American Annie McCarrick and who may have been responsible for the disappearance of Annie McCarrick.
Theories include the involvement of rapist Larry Murphy, or an IRA man she reportedly met in a pub in the Wicklow mountains, or even a Spanish serial killer.
